J. Herbin inks have been around for over 200 years.  This ink offers beautiful colors, some great shading inks, and amazing shimmer inks.  These inks are non-toxic and pH neutral water based inks that offer a smooth flow in addition to utilizing natural dyes.
 
This ink is filled with history and perfection.  J. Herbin began in 1670 with the manufacturing of sealing wax and fine stationary.  In 1798 the Herbin name expanded and began manufacturing writing inks.  J. Herbin now resides under the Clairefontaine Rhodia umbrella and continues to offer world class fountain pen inks.  The inks are manufactured in Paris, France.  
 
These bottles of ink must be shaken well prior to drawing ink out of them. When the ink is in the pen, it helps to invert the pen several times prior to writing so the ink mixes prior to writing. The wider the nib and better quality of paper you use will make the pearlescent look come out more. As with all shimmer type inks, these inks require the fountain pen to be cleaned more often to ensure good ink flow.

Inks are eligible for return if they have not been opened.  If an ink has been opened / used, we will not be able to refund your purchase price.  If the ink has not been opened / used, and you would like to return it, please notify us within 21 days of the delivery date and ship the package back to us within 30 days of the delivery date.  If you have questions about our return policy, please email us at ProvincialMills@outlook.com
