This fountain pen comes with a flex nib which will write fine lined upstrokes and with a little pressure will write broader lined down strokes. This pen has a built in piston ink fill mechanism, so you will have to have a bottle of ink for this pen, ink cartridges will not work. The body of the pen is made from a celluloid derivative which is biodegradable and formed from renewable resources. ***Due to the material used to make this pen, every pen may look slightly different in regards to designs in the body.***
This is a #6 nib, but due to the design of the pen, other brands of #6 nibs will not fit it.
We highly recommend flushing every new pen prior to use. This will ensure all partciles a debris that may have been left behind during the manufacturing of the pen are removed.
Most of our products are shipped Ground Advantage shipping through the USPS. We do ship certain items or offer shipping upgrades for Priority Mail through the USPS. We can also add Signature confirmation to packages. If you would like Signature Confirmation, please let us know and we will add the charge ($2.45) to your order.
The USPS offers the following timelines as a guide (not guaranteed) for package delivery within the United States:
Ground Advantage: 2-5 day
Priority mail: 1-3 days.
We ship items next business day under most circumstances, but there are times when we are unable to ship orders the following day. If there will be a delay in shipment due to our shop being closed or we are away at a show, we will have a message posted on our "Shop Announcement" section of our home page (near the top of the page) on Etsy or in our blog on our website. During busy holiday seasons there are times when we are unable to ship next day.Once the package is shipped you will be notified and furnished with a tracking number. We have seldom had any problems with lost packages shipped through the USPS. ***Please double check your shipping address to ensure it is correct. We are not responsible for items shipped to the wrong address that was provided to us. Please ensure there is a safe and secure area for the package to be delivered. Once the USPS indicates the package was delivered, we can no longer assist with any type of loss. If a package is returned to us due to unforeseen circumstances, we will refund the purchase price of the item (minus shipping), and the item will go back into inventory if you would like to purchase it again.
