This pen depicts the ancient patrician that dates back to the 15th century and is located on the Grand Canal in Venice, Italy. The body of the pen is handcrafted from bronze in Venice. The pen comes with an ink cartridge and ink converter. The nib is a #5 medium nib. This pen can be upgraded with a Bock nib for an additional fee.
NIB INFORMATION: We test all nibs prior to shipping the pen out. You will receive a nib test card in the box with your pen. The nibs that come standard with the pens are made in Taiwan, great quality, and write smoothly. We do carry Bock 180 nibs if you would like to upgrade your pen. If you purchase a Bock nib, we will automatically test the Bock nib and install it on the pen for you. The Bock 180 nib is a standard #5 size, which fits all the pens made by Provincial Mills (unless specifically stated in the pen description). These nibs are high quality and made in Germany. We carry the Bock 180 nib in Extra Fine, Fine, Medium, Bold, 1.1 Stub, and 1.5 Calligraphy tips with more to come. Bortoletti Artistic Foundry was established in 1980 by four brothers, driven by a passion for bronze casting and sculpture which they inherited from their father. The story begins in Venice, and it’s a tale of love, passion for tradition and the need to preserve the beauty of this culture, handed down from father to son. Many years of experience led to great strides forward in the quality of our creations, which had an effect on our entire production process. At the same time, the foundry began collaborating with two great artists: Elio Martella and Agostino Venturini. The artistic creativity flowing from the pencils of these two masters gave birth to new product designs, and they have been the lifeblood of the whole creative process. Our products are very aesthetically pleasing because they bring to mind the past using the language of the present.
We offer free Ground Advantage shipping through the USPS on certain items. We do ship certain items or offer shipping upgrades for Priority Mail through the USPS. We can also add Signature confirmation to packages. If you would like Signature Confirmation, please let us know and we will add the charge ($2.45) to your order.
The USPS offers the following timelines as a guide (not guaranteed) for package delivery within the United States:
Ground Advantage: 2-5 day
Priority mail: 1-3 days.
We ship items next business day under most circumstances, but there are times when we are unable to ship orders the following day. If there will be a delay in shipment due to our shop being closed or we are away at a show, we will have a message posted on our "Shop Announcement" section of our home page (near the top of the page) on Etsy or in our blog on our website. During busy holiday seasons there are times when we are unable to ship next day.Once the package is shipped you will be notified and furnished with a tracking number. We have seldom had any problems with lost packages shipped through the USPS. Please ensure there is a safe and secure area for the package to be delivered. Once the USPS indicates the package was delivered, we can no longer assist with any type of loss. If a package is returned to us due to unforeseen circumstances, we will refund the purchase price of the item (minus shipping), and the item will go back into inventory if you would like to purchase it again.
