The Monteverde Axis fountain pen is the perfect every day pen that you can take anywhere. The pen is compact enough to fit in your pocket, but once you post the cap on the back it supports a comfortable writing experience. The body of the pen has a wide, comfortable grip which also prevents the pen from rolling. The cap is magnetic, so there is no need to screw the cap on and off. The pen is made from an anodized aluminum which makes it lightweight and comfortable to write with. The nib on this pen is a #5 JoWo which you can choose a fine or medium tip. The pen does come with a converter. The converter is a international standard short / mini converter.
This pen comes in matte blue, olive, orange, and black.
NIB INFORMATION: This pen comes with a #5 JoWo nib. We also carry the Bock 180 nibs which will fit this pen. If you would prefer to have a Bock nib on the pen, you can purchase the Bock nib separate and we will install the nib for you. We carry the Bock 180 nib in Extra Fine, Fine, Medium, Bold, 1.1 Stub, and 1.5 Calligraphy tips with more to come. You can find the Bock 180 nibs under the "Ink and Nib" section of our shop.

Most of our products are shipped Ground Advantage shipping through the USPS. We do ship certain items or offer shipping upgrades for Priority Mail through the USPS. We can also add Signature confirmation to packages. If you would like Signature Confirmation, please let us know and we will add the charge ($2.45) to your order.
The USPS offers the following timelines as a guide (not guaranteed) for package delivery within the United States:
Ground Advantage: 2-5 day
Priority mail: 1-3 days.
We ship items next business day under most circumstances, but there are times when we are unable to ship orders the following day. If there will be a delay in shipment due to our shop being closed or we are away at a show, we will have a message posted on our "Shop Announcement" section of our home page (near the top of the page) on Etsy or in our blog on our website. During busy holiday seasons there are times when we are unable to ship next day.Once the package is shipped you will be notified and furnished with a tracking number. We have seldom had any problems with lost packages shipped through the USPS. If a package is returned to us due to unforeseen circumstances, we will refund the purchase price of the item (minus shipping), and the item will go back into inventory if you would like to purchase it again.
