How do I clean my fountain pen?

Regular cleaning is essential to maintain smooth performance. Start by disassembling your fountain pen (remove the barrel, grip section, and ink cartridge or converter). Rinse the nib and feed under cool running water until the water flows clear. For stubborn ink or when switching colors, soak the nib in lukewarm water (you can add a drop of mild soap or specialized pen flush) for 15–30 minutes before rinsing again. If available, use a bulb syringe to gently force water through the converter or feed channels. After cleaning, dry all components with a soft, lint‑free cloth and allow them to air‑dry completely before reassembly.
