How do I prevent my ink from drying out in the pen?

Preventing ink from drying out inside your fountain pen is all about good usage and storage habits. To keep your pen working smoothly:

Use your pen regularly: Regular writing helps keep the ink moist and prevents the formation of dry clogs.

Always cap your pen immediately after use: A secure cap minimizes exposure to air, reducing evaporation.

If not in regular use, flush the pen: Before long-term storage, clean your pen thoroughly and either refill it with fresh ink when needed or store it empty to avoid drying.

Store in proper conditions: Keep your pen in a cool, shaded area (preferably horizontally) so that the ink remains evenly distributed in the converter or cartridge and does not evaporate rapidly. By following these tips, you can help ensure that your fountain pen remains in excellent working condition even if you don’t use it every day.
