This provincial fountain pen was crafted from navy titanium and gold. The fittings and cap on the pen were machined from C3603 Brass. The only piece on the fittings that are not metal are the nib feed and holder. All threads have been machined into metal This pen does not have a pen clip on the cap. The pen does come with a throw away ink cartridge and an ink pump / converter. The nib on this pen is a #5 medium tip.
This metal was produced by applying a macro-molecular process to the metal. The new molecular structure of this metal allows for an increased strength to weight ratio with enhanced surface characteristics. This metal also contains diamond dust which creates a twinkle on the surface of the metal.
**We make several of these pens at one time. The pen you will receive will be the same colors but may have different swirls and patterns in it since every piece of acrylic / wood is unique. The pen pictured is an example of the colors and how the acrylic / wood will look.
With every pen purchase you receive a gift box, certificate of authenticity, pen pouch, and our business information. With fountain pen purchases you also get one converter / ink pump, one ink cartridge, and fountain pen instructions. With our mechanical pencils you will also get instructions. We offer free USPS first class shipping on certain items. **Dragon pens do not come with a pen pouch due to their size.
The pens offered by Provincial Mills are handcrafted in the United States (Colorado). We stand behind the craftsmanship of our products 100%. If you are not happy with your purchase, please contact us within 21 days and return the undamaged product within 30 days and we will refund the purchase price minus a 10% restocking fee (max restocking fee of $17.50). Returned items must be in the same condition as they were when shipped (no scratches, wear and tear, broken pieces ect.). Due to the nibs and ink used in fountain pens, the fountain pens must be unused if returned. Most woods and antler are finished with a CA glue coating which gives them a long-lasting shine and helps protect them. Depending on the material, some materials may be finished with a rubbing oil and high-speed friction polish. If the rubbing oil and high-speed friction polish is used, it will be stated in the pen description.
We offer free First Class shipping through the USPS on certain items. We do ship certain items or offer shipping upgrades for Priority Mail through the USPS. We also utilize Parcel select Ground through the USPS for packages that are too large for First Class. We can also add Signature confirmation to packages. If you would like Signature Confirmation, please let us know and we will add the charge ($2.45) to your order.
The USPS offers the following timelines as a guide (not guaranteed) for package delivery within the United States:
First Class Mail: 2-5 day
Parcel select Ground: 2-9 days
Priority mail: 1-3 days
We ship items next business day under most circumstances, but there are times when we are unable to ship orders the following day. If there will be a delay in shipment due to our shop being closed or we are away at a show, we will have a message posted on our "Shop Announcement" section of our home page (near the top of the page). During busy holiday seasons there are times when we are unable to ship next day.
Once the package is shipped you will be notified and furnished with a tracking number. We have seldom had any problems with lost packages shipped through the USPS. With that said, if your package is lost, please contact us as soon as possible so we can assist with solving the problem.
