We have teamed up with Bortoletti to bring their handmade Italian pens to the United States. These dip pens are some of the finest available and will provide you with all the tools you need to make you calligraphy / writing masterpieces. The combination of the bronze nib holder with the actual pen body gives every writing instrument a certain beauty.

About Bortoletti:

Bortoletti Artistic Foundry was established in 1980 by four brothers, driven by a passion for bronze casting and sculpture which they inherited from their father.

The story begins in Venice, and it’s a tale of love, passion for tradition and the need to preserve the beauty of this culture, handed down from father to son.

Many years of experience led to great strides forward in the quality of our creations, which had an effect on our entire production process. At the same time, the foundry began collaborating with two great artists: Elio Martella and Agostino Venturini.

The artistic creativity flowing from the pencils of these two masters gave birth to new product designs, and they have been the lifeblood of the whole creative process. Our products are very aesthetically pleasing because they bring to mind the past using the language of the present.

If you are not happy with your purchase, please contact us within 21 days and return the undamaged product within 30 days and we will refund the purchase price minus a 10% restocking fee (max restocking fee of $17.50). Returned items must be in the same condition as they were when shipped (no scratches, wear and tear, broken pieces ect.). Due to the nibs and ink used in fountain pens, the fountain pens must be unused if returned. Most woods and antler are finished with a CA glue coating which gives them a long-lasting shine and helps protect them. Depending on the material, some materials may be finished with a rubbing oil and high-speed friction polish. If the rubbing oil and high-speed friction polish is used, it will be stated in the pen description.

We offer free First Class shipping through the USPS on certain items. We do ship certain items or offer shipping upgrades for Priority Mail through the USPS. We also utilize Parcel select Ground through the USPS for packages that are too large for First Class. We can also add Signature confirmation to packages. If you would like Signature Confirmation, please let us know and we will add the charge ($2.45) to your order.

The USPS offers the following timelines as a guide (not guaranteed) for package delivery within the United States:

First Class Mail: 2-5 day
Parcel select Ground: 2-9 days
Priority mail: 1-3 days

We ship items next business day under most circumstances, but there are times when we are unable to ship orders the following day. If there will be a delay in shipment due to our shop being closed or we are away at a show, we will have a message posted on our "Shop Announcement" section of our home page (near the top of the page). During busy holiday seasons there are times when we are unable to ship next day.

Once the package is shipped you will be notified and furnished with a tracking number. We have seldom had any problems with lost packages shipped through the USPS. With that said, if your package is lost, please contact us as soon as possible so we can assist with solving the problem.
